The Relevancy Ring ESP Buyer’s Guide 2016 is a quantifiable measurement of email service providers (ESPs) and email infrastructure vendors manifesting in leaders and contender vendor rings. In a three-month research process, The Relevancy Group evaluated marketers’ challenges, needs and aspirations and how vendor solutions are poised to eradicate obstacles to achieving marketers’ goals. The eight vendors reviewed include: Acxiom Impact, Adobe Campaign, Epsilon Agility Harmony, Experian Marketing Services, Maropost, MessageGears, PostUp and Zeta Interactive.

The Relevancy Ring Vendor Success metric for Everychannel-Email Service Providers is measured by four categories: Client Satisfaction, Services Capabilities, Functionality, and Innovation. A survey within the report found that marketers’ top priorities for 2016 are: attribution accuracy, driving relevancy, investing in moment marketing, analytical optimization, and data centralization. According to the guide, 27 percent of enterprises and 16 percent of mid-market companies are turning to newer hybrid solutions, such as MessageGears, that tie cloud-sending infrastructure to internal database solutions to help them achieve their marketing goals.

“We are thrilled that MessageGears has attracted the attention of The Relevancy Group and has earned seven Client Satisfaction Awards,” said Dan Roy, CEO and co-founder of MessageGears. “For companies that want to maintain data security while managing massive amounts of ever-changing data for real-time marketing, a hybrid solution like ours makes sense. Through the MessageGears’ platform, marketers can connect to as many internal databases as they like within a given installation, sharing the same account and delivery infrastructure.”

MessageGears received rave reviews for their hybrid approach, according to the survey. “Clients love their tool’s scale, flexibility, ability to plug into just about anything, and overall value in the marketplace,” says the guide. “One client felt they had the best enterprise tech stack in the marketplace. Another expressed how accessible and generous MessageGears is about sharing knowledge and expertise. Another felt the company is a strong thought leader in email technology with great technical documentation.” MessageGears’ growing list of clients includes Expedia.com®, Music Today, Runkeeper, Sabre Travel Network, and Wotif.com.

In last year’s Relevancy Ring ESP Buyer’s Guide, MessageGears was honored with three awards: Gold Client Satisfaction Award for the solution’s powerful deliverability, a Gold Client Satisfaction Award for infrastructure stability, and a Silver Client Satisfaction Award for its account management servicing.
