MessageGears Named a Top 100 Fastest-Growing Company by the Atlanta Business Chronicle

Apr 22, 2016

ATLANTA (April 22, 2016) — MessageGears, the first and only email marketing service to combine the power and security of on-premises software with the efficiency and scalability of cloud delivery, has been named one of Atlanta’s fastest-growing privately held companies by the Atlanta Business Chronicle’s Pacesetter Awards. MessageGears accepted its award on April 21 at the 21st annual Pacesetter Awards, held at the Georgia Aquarium. The 2016 Pacesetter Awards winners are profiled in the April 22 issue of Atlanta Business Chronicle.

To qualify for a Pacesetter Award, companies must be headquartered in Atlanta and generate revenue between $1 million and $300 million. They must also have a two-year growth in sales of more than 50 percent. Companies are ranked by a growth index formula used to even the playing field among companies of different sizes.

Founded in 2010, MessageGears’ explosive growth is attributed to its innovative approach to email marketing. For over a decade, marketers have had access to only two enterprise email marketing solutions: on-premises software or cloud software as a service (SaaS). MessageGears introduced an alternative option called hybrid email marketing, which for the first time combines the best aspects of the security and direct access of an on-premises system with the ease of use, scalability and reliability of the cloud. As the only provider that offers these capabilities, MessageGears continues to attract new enterprise clients, including Expedia, Swatch, Runkeeper, Music Today, and Pursuant Health. The company’s email volume has quadrupled since 2014 while still maintaining industry-leading uptime. MessageGears projects its monthly message volume to exceed two billion by the end of 2016.

“MessageGears’ rapid growth is a sign that the market was ready for a solution that would give enterprise companies the ability to communicate more effectively and efficiently with customers than ever before,” said Dan Roy, CEO of MessageGears. “The Pacesetter Award is really a testament to the hard work and dedication of our outstanding team of developers and engineers who tirelessly work to provide our customers with a truly secure and integrated marketing platform that retains all the efficiencies of SaaS.”

MessageGears has been repeatedly recognized by multiple industry awards for its innovative approach to email marketing and customer service. In addition to being named a Pacesetter, MessageGears is also a recipient of seven Client Satisfaction Awards from The Relevancy Group, a Silver Stevie® Award, a Top 20 Most Promising Digital Marketing Solution Provider by CIOReview, and the company was also recently included as a representative vendor in the 2016 Gartner “Market Guide for Email Marketing” report.
